BRG purchased the surplus real estate assets, including retail stores, bulk plants, truck stops, vacant land and office space where the seller had closed the facilities for various reasons. In this transaction the seller retained the environmental liabilities associated with the individual sites and indemnified future buyers against environmental actions.
